Anne-Marie Johnson update

Three weeks ago, I blogged about Anne-Marie Johnson’s campaign for the presidency of the Screen Actors Guild.

Well, the results are in. Anne-Marie lost.

Ken Howard (“The White Shadow”) was elected SAG president with 47 percent of the vote. Ms. Johnson pulled 33 percent, and Seymour Cassel got 18 percent.

After recent years of labor turmoil in Hollywood, Ken Howard was considered the “moderate” candidate.

I guess winning that Emmy helped Ken Howard sway the fence-sitters, huh?

^ That, or the 2007 writers' strike was such a disaster, nobody wants to go near that road again.

Seymour Cassel is still alive? Who knew?
